Ron Swift
CEO
As the CEO of Pacific Mortgage Group Inc., Ron Swift is responsible for the overall group operations for Radius Financial and Mortgage Architects. Recognized as a Canadian Mortgage Hall of Fame inductee, Ron is a respected member of the Canadian mortgage industry with a proven executive management track record and almost two decades of experience in a variety of leadership roles. Prior to joining Pacific Mortgage Group Inc., Ron served as President of MCAP’s residential mortgage origination, broker channel sales and servicing business for over 10 years. Formerly a Mortgage Broker and native of Vancouver, Ron brings a wealth of knowledge of the Canadian retail mortgage market to the operations at Pacific Mortgage Group.
Gary Cilevitz, CA
Chief Financial Officer
Gary Cilevitz is a Chartered Accountant with 15 years experience in both Canadian and American accounting and auditing, with a focus in dynamic high growth public companies.
Gary was recently Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of MoneyLogix, and previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of Richview Resources Inc., a TSX listed company. During his tenure at Richview Resources Inc, he helped grow the company from three to thirty people. All accounting and regulatory filings, cash flow management, budgeting and all facets of the accounting department were his responsibility. He implemented and strengthened internal control procedures, testing and documentation. Gary managed all corporate secretarial duties, including share issuance and filings and managed all back office operations. Fundraising activities included a German Fund Raise Prospectus, convertible loans and private placements.
Lorraine Sato, AMP
VP Underwriting
Lorraine Sato has over 30 years of mortgage lending experience. She was part of the team that led CIBC FirstLine during its exponential growth period to become the largest mortgage originator in Canada. She spent over 13 years with FirstLine where she held numerous roles, including responsibility for the prime residential lending group and as Director of subprime and mortgage servicing. In 2002, she successfully built and launched the Alt A underwriting division for GMAC Residential Funding, developing all lending products, guidelines, policies and procedures, and overseeing over $2 billion in fundings. In 2006, Lorraine joined myNext Mortgage and developed the company’s lending infrastructure, including product development, underwriting and all administration services.
George Zhang CFA, CIM, MBA, MA
Vice President, Capital Markets & Treasurer
George Zhang is one of the original employees when myNext Mortgage Company was founded in 2006. He is responsible for funding, hedging, interest rate risk management, mortgage sale, product pricing and ALCO process. Mr. Zhang is a Chartered Financial Analyst and previously managed balance sheets including mortgage portfolios for both BMO Financial Group and CIBC/Firstline for over 10 years. He has fifteen years of experience in the areas of treasury and asset liability management. In the earlier part of his career, George spent five years in the area of marketing research.
Suzanna Stefanec
VP, National Sales & Products
Suzanna Stefanec has been in the mortgage industry for over 20 years, and has worked for national lenders and brokerage firms in various sales & training capacities, most recently as National Director of Products with Mortgage Architects. Suzanna has had considerable success in assisting brokers increase their volumes through sales & marketing programs, business plans and training sessions on various lender & insurer products & features, as well as timely housing & economic updates. Suzanna's financial services experience also includes Firstline Mortgages, CIBC Mortgages Inc, London Life, Peoples Trust, along with experience as an underwriter and a licensed mortgage broker in British Columbia.
Joe Fakhri
Chief Information Officer
As the VP of Technology, Joe is responsible for leading strategy development and implementation of all technology initiatives. Prior to myNext, Joe was Manager, e-Business Solutions at Maritz Canada, where his responsibility was to lead and deliver custom desktop and mobile solutions to a variety of Maritz’ clients including Scotia, CIBC, RIM, Ford, Nissan, Home Depot, Direct Energy and IBM. His portfolio of delivered business applications was highly concentrated on the financial and automotive sectors in addition to channel enablement and marketing services.
Before joining Maritz, Joe was Senior Project Manager at Nissan Canada where he primarily focused on leadership and management of B2B applications for Nissan Dealers across Canada. Joe holds a Bachelor in Software Engineering and Business Management in addition to a Masters in Software Engineering both from McMaster University.
